Once in a blue moon an author has the privilege of seeing one of his/her novels on the bestseller list. This weekend, I had a super rare privilege–three books on various bestseller lists!
For a privileged few, this is a common occurrence. But when you’ve built a career writing different types of books, each for a specific purpose and they cover an array of genres/sub-genres, it’s a rare privilege indeed.
It started with: Legend of the Mist.
Amazon Super Sale $1.99
Bell Bridge Books and Amazon put Legend on sale for $1.99 during August. It was on the time-travel, science fiction, and romantic suspense lists.
Continued with Dangerous Desires, a boxed set collection, done with CJ Lyons, Debra Webb, Vicki Hinze, VR Marks, Peggy Webb, with bonus novellas by Regan Black and Kathy Carmichael. It got a new cover this weekend:
Limited Time Sale 99 cents
This set made the police procedural, romantic suspense, romantic mystery, thriller lists in the US and the UK. As I write this, it’s #1 in Police Procedurals in the UK!
And wrapped up with Duplicity:
Military Romantic Thriller $2.99
A military, legal romantic thriller, made the military bestseller list.
Simply put, I was and remain thrilled to see all of these general market fiction novels do so well. It means the opportunity is there for more people to be aware of the books and read the books. That enhances the opportunity to see my purpose in writing the books fulfilled.
