Fourteen years ago, our nation was attacked. Nearly 3000 people were killed. We bear the scars and we remember. That day, we made a promise to never forget. Today, Patriot’s Day, a national day of service and remembrance, we honor the fallen. Those who rushed in rather than running away. Those who sacrificed to spare more of us. We haven’t forgotten. Nor have we forgotten three years ago, the 9/11 attack that killed our ambassador and three brave men in Benghazi. We still seek the truth about that attack and we still await answers. We know you raised the alarm and answered its call. For you and your sacrifice, we remember.
