The Mayor of Dallas and the Police Chief are asking Americans across the nation to pray with them at Noon Today (CST) for the victims and their grieving families in the Dallas Police Shooting, and for Police Officers across the nation.

Today is a day to comfort. To nurture and support. To be compassionate and caring.

Today is not the day for political diatribes or discourse. Remember that with this event, born in anger generated by seeds of division for political gains, widows and orphans were created while defending Americans.

Today remember to appreciate the good in all Americans. To express gratitude. And pray for the healing our nation needs to remember its people are one. They are Americans.
