Rubio Calls Attention to Human Trafficking at Kristi House In Miami
On Friday, Marco held a human trafficking awareness briefing in Miami. The event was held at Kristi House, a child victims’ assistance center, and served to raise awareness about the human trafficking problem in Florida and urge immediate passage of the bipartisan Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act.

Some estimate the number is as high as 60,000 annually. Combating human trafficking is a daunting task and emergency healthcare providers have a critical role to play.
