Absolutely the reasons for rejection do. I'm going to have to do a blog post on that! I come across so many authors who think editors are just being nice or trying to let them down easily by saying submit again, so I'm very happy you posted that you honestly do mean it in your comment. Very glad you like the video blog. :) I'm actively seeking ways to give my eyes rest time and still do all the things I love to do. This is working out, and I'm so grateful for that! I can tell people - I've been on both sides of the "rejection" fence. I've received them, and I have to send them as Publishing Editor of Rose & Thorn Journal. I hate sending those letters -it's the worst part of my job. But I know so many times really good writers are rejected - and when we say "we loved your work; please submit again" we really really mean it, but often we never hear from them again.
