Today’s Thought to Ponder

WONDERS OF CHARACTER

When the impossible seems improbable but is presented by a person of character, benefit of doubt follows and often we discover what we deemed improbable is not only possible but fact.  ~Vicki Hinze

There’s good in being a Phoenix.  We’re inspired by them all the time.  The thing is, we tend to forget how the Phoenix gets to be a Phoenix.  S/he took a risk, a chance, a leap of faith–and crashed and burned.  Then, s/he pulled her/himself up and rose from the ashes, wiser for the experience, and then s/he became a Phoenix.

There could be no inspiring time without the hard time.

There could be no Phoenix without the crash and burn–there’s nothing to rise.

Blessings,

Vicki

Taking a Stand

In the end, even he who sits, is taking a stand.  Seat your positions in principle, not in the way the wind blows.  Wise ones can agree to disagree, those lacking wisdom ridicule.

When all is said and done, the eyes you must meet whose judgment most matters are those in the mirror, and if the stands you have taken remain seated in principle, you’re able to so do without regret.
